NNAS would like to congratulate the BC College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP) on their successful merger of all nursing regulators of British Columbia, effective today.
As of September 4th, 2018, the BCCNP (www.bccnp.ca) has opened its doors, with a mandate to regulate all nurses in British Columbia. A significant amount of work has gone into preparing for the transition to a single nursing regulator for Registered Nurses (RN’s), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN’s), Registered Psychiatric Nurses (RPN’s) and Nurse Practitioners (NP’s) with Cynthia Johansen (formerly of CRNBC) at the helm as their first CEO.
NNAS wishes the staff all the best for the future of their combined organization and acknowledges the hard work of all the legacy regulator’s staff in achieving this milestone.
